What a great time I have had this past week on vacation! It has been a much needed vacation as I was starting to feel overwhelmed at work. I needed a complete break from all work activities and I got it! I still have one more day off tomorrow (Mon) and back to work on Tuesday. I will definitely be refreshed and fired up!
Janel and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary last weekend. We were able to get away for a couple days alone. It was a great time and it was a break we needed! We have spent most of my vacation together and it has been a blessing. I never understood couples who need a "break" from each other. We have always wanted more time together, not breaks! I am blessed to share this life with her! I have a video that I will be uploading today or tomorrow on our two day adventure. Stay tuned.
Well....only 2 more weeks until butchering day! It goes by quick. I'm looking forward to getting some fresh and healthy chicken in the freezer. I absolutely love raising my own food. I'm not even close to where I want to be in growing/raising my own food, but I am getting there. Looking forward to growing the Homestead over the next few years. God has been good to us!
