We want to welcome you to our new website! We are hoping that this will be a help on your way to self sufficiency. But most of all, we want to be an encouragement to you. There were many people that helped us on our path into modern homesteading. We couldn't have done it without all the prayers of our many, many friends and family.
We are no where near where we want to be, but we are getting there. Our goals are to form community with others and share ideas with each other as we go on our way through this life.
Homeschooling has been a huge part of our lives for many years. We have 5 children ages 2-12. Janel has started a co-op with 2 other moms and there are now over 100 kids. That is one of the many things we will help promote on this website.
We will also be passing along many homesteading ideas and bargains that we found along our way. We hope to be a blessing to you and look forward to hearing from all of you!
