You could buy it new or used! Before purchasing, try searching the homeschooling community or booksales in your area for anyone wanting to sell it or lend it to save $! |
Notebooking Journal
This goes along with the textbook and is a superior resource! Lots of notetaking pages, lapbooking cutouts, and added resources to enhance your study! |
Junior Notebooking Journal
This is similar to the notebooking journal but is geared to the younger elementary grades. I've used both journals and they are such a blessing and this one is super helpful for the younger and eager sea creature enthusiasts! |

Chapter 13: Other Interesting Aquatic Animals
We did it! Our last chapter! What a fun adventure! After studying these last sea creatures, like sponges and micro creatures, we began our Research project. So be sure to check that out! You can obtain these activities HERE.
Lapbook Final Research Project:
Each student was asked to pick any sea creature they wanted that we had studied over the course of the year. They were given the Sea Creature Report Map to help them get started. The next step was to begin filling out the paragraph helper page where they could begin working on a mini report. This integrates the writing process into the class and helps them outline the research information they have collected then putting it into paragraph form.
