Our Story

We are a big family of 9 who moved to the country to live the simple life. Gardening, raising animals, and enjoying God's Creation! This is a place where we share our journey, experiences, and tips on sustainable living. Join us as we embrace the beauty of nature and the joys of farm life.

Our journey began over 25 years ago! Now 7 children and a daughter-in-law later....here we are!

We moved to our current property in 2013. We had lived in town on a very nice cul-de-sac, but knew we wanted out. We prayed about it and put our house on the market with no plans and it sold immediately!

God miraculously provided us with a beautiful 18 acre Homestead. (I'll share that story in a blog or video sometime). Since then, we have been building it up to where it is now. 
​
We experienced a devastating fire in 2024, and lost our barn and all of our animals. We lost our garage and all of our farm equipment and tools.

But God has restored us. We have since almost rebuilt our barn, (not quite finished), and garage, as well as replaced a lot of our equipment and tools we had lost.

We also own our own business. It is called Greenfield Basket Manufacturing. We produce baskets for farm and home use. God has been good to us! 
​
